Warning Labels
Compliance and Design Points
Compliance: Products sold in the Chinese market must comply with national standards such as GB/T 44523-2024 General Principles for Safety Signs and Hazard Diagrams of Continuous Handling Machinery. In the North American market, it is necessary to refer to OSHA and various state regulations (such as Washington state requiring persistent warning labels on tools).
Location and Durability: The label should be posted near the hazardous area and in a location that is easily visible to the operator. The label material should be durable and maintain clarity throughout the entire lifecycle of the equipment, and it is recommended to check its condition at least once a year.
Clear and easy to understand information: Priority should be given to using internationally recognized pictographic symbols, supplemented by short texts. The warning content should be specific, for example, it should be written as "Be careful of pinching your hands" instead of a general "Beware of danger".
