heat treated forks
Heat treatment fork is the most critical and core load-bearing component in manual pallet trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. It refers to the special heat treatment process used in the manufacturing of forks to achieve strength, wear resistance, and deformation resistance far superior to ordinary steel forks. For ZZ Industrial, providing high-quality heat-treated forks is the cornerstone of ensuring product safety, durability, reliability, and standing out in market competition.
Our forks usually undergo a heat treatment process of overall quenching and tempering, with the specific process as follows:
Heating: Heat the formed fork steel (usually high-quality alloy steel) above the critical temperature (about 850-950 ° C) to transform its internal structure into uniform austenite.
Quenching: Quickly immerse the high-temperature fork in a cooling medium (such as oil or water-based solution) to cool it instantly. This process forms a high hardness martensitic structure, greatly enhancing the surface hardness and strength of the fork.
Tempering: The material after quenching is hard but brittle. Then reheat it to a lower temperature (150-500 ° C) and let it sit for a period of time before cooling. This step can eliminate internal stress, improve toughness and plasticity, and enable the fork to have good impact resistance while being hard.
Characteristics of ZZ Industrial's heat-treated forks
Excellent material selection: using specific grades of alloy steel to provide high-quality substrates for heat treatment.
Controllable process: Advanced CNC heat treatment furnaces are used to ensure precise temperature and time control, ensuring consistent performance of each batch of products.
Quality inspection: Each batch of forks undergoes hardness testing (Rockwell or Brinell), load deformation testing, and can provide metallographic analysis reports to ensure that the process meets the standards.
Full range adaptation: We offer multiple specifications (length, thickness, installation spacing) of heat-treated forks, which can be adapted to ZZ Industrial's own brand and mainstream models of pallet trucks on the market. They are also sold separately as high-quality accessories.
Application scenarios
Frequent handling of heavy cargo (approaching or reaching the rated capacity of the equipment).
The environment is harsh, such as cold chain warehouses (low temperature brittleness challenge) and casting workshops (high wear and tear).
Industries with extremely high requirements for homework safety and equipment reliability, such as food and beverage, chemical, third-party logistics, etc.
